While Gus and I were having our evening dip in the water, mum was busy making a fire, a task she usually delegates to daddy, but since daddy was working and Mr. Jacob (the firefighter) couldn't come either, mum embraced the task and did a mighty fine job indeed. We went on a night hike with our glow-sticks and torches to collect more wood, which was really fun, and mommy almost ran into a GIANT spider. I had to share that story! We told campfire stories until about 9:30 and then we crawled into our tents tired from a terrificly active day.
