ExerSaucer

Mommy is finally letting me chill out in my fancy ExerSaucer. It's a hand-me-down from my friend Jassim. It's so fun to be able to stand-up and play. I can hang-out outside while Mommy does yard work. I just can't figure out how to put my foot in my mouth in this position-humm.

Picnic in Pisgah

My definition of a perfect evening is beers + yummy sandwiches + riverside spot + national forest + sunset + family. It was a perfect spring evening for me, if only Daddy would have let me have a bite of that delectable sandwich! We have been revelling in the beautiful spring weather. The forest is alive and it's practically a sin not to take advantage of all it has to offer. Our picnic spot overlooked Whaleback Falls, a very quaint and private area, especially on a Monday evening. When Grandma and Grandpa Coadwell come over to visit in October, we'll show them our special picnic spot in person. Can't wait!

My Pal Gus

OK, this is the last photo from the Christening that I will post. It's been over a week, but I'm still basking in all the glory. I just wanted to show that I had a friend in attendance, it wasn't just all the old folks coming along to oh and ah over me. Gus was there representin' the younger generation. Thanks pal!

Christening Familial Attendee's

Blessed with a Fern

In honor of our New Zealand family, a fern was used in the ceremony. Ernie dipped it in water and then dripped that onto my head, and into my eyes I might add. But I took it like a strong kiwi man. Can 't believe it was a whole week ago. Sorry to be a bit behind. Love to Grandma and Grandpa Coadwell, Denise, Chris, Hayden, Blair and Virginia (who is very happy I am not a girl). Wish we could see more of you, but you are all always with us in spirit.

It's Official

Sunday, April 19, 2009, was my official welcoming to the world. The ceremony was held at the UUTC and beautifully led by Ernie Mills. Mommy had a cake made to share with the congregation. I enjoyed being the center of attention. I especially enjoyed when the audience clapped and Ernie walked me around the sanctuary. I felt like Simba in THe Lion King.

Twenty One

I guess I look old for my age, like 21 years-old. I now know what Daddy likes about beer. It tastes pretty darn good and the bottles are wonderful for relieving teething pain. Cheers!

Grandad and Grandma

I was lucky enough to spend an afternoon with Grandma and Grandad during their visit back to WNC. I got to go to the park, have lunch on the patio and El Ranchero and go to the local toy store. Grandparents are so fun, they so very rarely say "no."

Easter Sunday

I headed down to South Carolina to celebrate my first Easter with Mimi and Pop Pop. Everything was in bloom given the recent rains. I'm really glad that spring is finally springing! The Easter Bunny was kind, brining me a fun, singing chick. Bock, bock, bock. Oh, I must mention that the lake is beginning to fill back-up. Yeah!

Posin' with the Ladies

I love my Aunt Chanley and Cousin Arawen. They can always make me smile and laugh.

The Bumbo Chair

Mommy bought me a Bumbo chair for my 4 month birthday. The chair helps me to sit up like a big boy. I like it best in the kitchen. I can sit and watch Mommy or Daddy cook, and then I can sit at the table with them while they eat. As you can see, it was helpful in posing for a picture with my cousin Arawen. The Bumbo is made in South Africa, but I try not to hold that against it.
