Savannah Riverfront

We left Charleston and headed straight to Savannah, GA just two hours south and two minutes over the SC border. It is also a very historic port city but with a flair of it's own. Our hotel was about 100 yards from the riverfront area so we headed down there to stroll and to grab a bite to eat. Unfortunately, the temperature had dropped but we made the most of our time regardless. I took this picture of daddy next to the river.

We found an upstairs bar/restraunt called Tubbies that had heaters going, so we decided to dine al fresco. Interesting note, University of GA was playing that evening, which was cool since we were in GA.

I really, really wanted to go for a boat ride, but I was over-ruled. I did get to ride a trolley the next day though.

Playing pirate ship.
