Aunt Chanley's birthday was August 4th. We took a birthday hike in her honor and she and her friend Ann took a plunge into Turtle Back Falls. On the way to the big "slide" we passed Rainbow Falls, which is very pretty as you can see.
Rainbow Falls
The hike i was just over two miles and it was a very hot day. I pretty much ran the whole way, creating a sweaty mess. Here I am taking a break. Mom and had pity on me and let me have a lollipop.
Aunt Chanley takes the birthday plunge!
That little speck is Arawen. She climbed all the way up there via a rope but decided she did not want to take the plunge.
