Hay Activities

I think the most fun I had at Stingy Jacks was playing in all the hay, in it's many shapes and forms. Benj and I were chasing each other in the hay maze and I must admit we did cheat a few times and just jump over the hay barrels to get to the exit.

"I am King of the Hay Mountains!"

The horses were chasing our tractor, apparently they like hay too!

Me and Loie on the trailer for the hay ride.

Hay Ride number 2 for this fall season (I also went on a hay ride at Sky Top Orchard, but I was with daddy and he never takes pictures).

More Fun at Stingy Jacks

Come back Greysen, the Scarecrow won't hurt you!

Chainsaw Dan was putting on a wood-sawing show, making bears from logs with a chainsaw (thus his name). Greysen was playing hide and seek.

A Nora sandwich.

Chasing Benjamin in the Corn Maze...as you can see the corn maze was short on corn!

Look Mommy, a white pumpkin, like white squirrels!

Collision

Benjamin and I were enjoying the openess of Stingy Jacks, going wild in the open fields, as you can see in this video clip.

Stingy Jacks Pumpkin Patch

Autumn is a wonderful time in the Appalchian Mts., full of beauty and activities. My friends Benjamin, Greysen, Nora, Loie and I headed to Stingy Jacks Pumpkin Patch last Friday evening right here in Transylvania County. We had fun frollicking and basking in this colorful season. The "Buddy System", holding hands as we head to the line for the trolley that will shuttle us to Stingy Jacks.
Benjamin jumps onto the trolley.

The crew on the trolley.

We arrived at Stingy Jacks after a very fun trolley ride, let the games begin!

The Last of the Sandburgh Pics

The view from the front of the house looking out.

After our big tour of the Carl Sandburgh homeplace, mom and I walked over to the Flat Rock Bakery. While we were waiting for our pizza we went window shopping. Here I am with my pals Zebra and Giraffe. By the way, I ate five pieces of pizza, mommy had two.

On the way home we stopped at a farm stand and picked out some pumpkins. We donated on pumpkin to my school, against my pleas to keep it at my house.
