Believe it or not, we actually caught a fish, two actually, with our nets off the dock.

Tubing with the Ladies

Kinley and Bradlee are the Powell's grandaughters. I thoroughly enjoyed hanging out with them on the lake, swimming and tubing. Sometimes it's great to be a guy!

I left the tubing to the girls and as you can see they are experts!

Mum and I floated on the tube, but did not get pulled behind the boat. I'm not quite ready for that, perhaps next summer.

An Ice-Cream Break

Mr. Ken knew of this super cool spot at a marina on the lake. We took the boat and stopped in and he bought everyone ice-cream, something mum and dad never let me have! I had a ball making a huge mess. Of course the next day my belly hurt from crappy, processed ice-cream. It's hard to transition when you're used to homemade gelato.

MiMi'a friends the Powell's were down at the lake for a wee holiday and brought their boat. I had a lot of fun manning the steering wheel. It's actually quite easy. Mr. Ken barely had to help me!

A Weekend at MiMi's

Mum, MiMi and I had planned a trip to the beach last week, but it fell through, so instead, we all met up at the lake, along with Aunt Chanley and Cousin Arawen, for some freshwater fun. The next few posts will be about my adventures on Lake Hartwell, the last weekend in July. I can't belive July is over!!!
