Daddy's Little Gelato Helper

When we arrived at the music center I helped daddy get the gelato cart all set-up. We earned over $150 additional dollars for the charity, selling gelato on their behalf. Good on us!

Charity Walk

It was a beautiful day for a walk, especially a walk that helps raise money for a such a wonderful cause like Parkinson's Disease research. Our dear friend and customer, "Dr. Mike" has Parkinson's and invited mum, dad and I and the Kiwi Gelato cart to be a part of this charity event last Sunday afternoon at the Brevard Music Center. I got some sponsors to support my walking efforts and I think I made them proud. Although, all those slow-pokes with Parkinson's really slowed down my pace-hehehehe! Daddy and I taking in the first signs of autumn down near the pond as we waited for the walk to begin.

Dr. Wells, one the local pediatrician's, dressed in his finest kilt and called us to line-up using his bagpipes. I knew exactly what he was wearing, given my recent experience with kilts. See me there in the middle of the group.

Haka Training

Brevard's ALL BALCKS Fan Club

We hosted a wee breakie "party" for viewing the ALL BlaCKS vs. France game Saturday morning. My pal Nathaniel brought over some fun toys he had gotten when he was in NZ in July visiting his mum's hometown on the North Island. He even knows how to do a haka, kind of. I need trained up so we can do it together, maybe by the final I'll be ready. We also had a Frenchman, our pal Mark from Marco's restraurant, join us, but he was late and missed the photo op. He was a good sport though, being that our team kicked his teams butts!

Boats, Trains, Giant Bumble Bees & Bears

I told mommy I liked the train the best, but I smiled biggest on the Giant Bee. None of the rides scared me, and next year I hope I can go on the big boy rides. Here's to growing a few more feet!

The State Fair

Not a super-smiley photo, but I wanted to show-off my fun Kiwi T-shirt.
"Take me to the ponies, over there, that way!"

Mum and I made it to the fair just in the knick of time. It started on Sept. 9th, but with the wedding in PA and such, we were unable to get over to the fairgrounds until the last day, Sunday evening. Mom splurged a bit, so I got to ride some rides (last year, Gus had pity on me and donated some ride tickets to me). THe next few blog posts with highlight my trip to the State Fair.

A Saturday BBQ with Old Friends

After a day of soccer, we went back to the Killians for a BBQ. Ms. Cathy invited a bunch of her and moms friends from high school over and fun was had by all. There were tons of kids, as mum's friends have been busy pro-creating over the past few years. Besides John (19 months), I was the youngest person present. Arawen joined us at the party. If you look close, you can see us near the top of the slide.
Old folks chillin. The just had their 20th HIgh School Reunion last November, so they are really OLD.

Happy 5th Anniversary Mom and Dad

"Like saki bombs and sushi, we belong together."

These are the romantic words daddy said to mommy five years ago as he vowed to marry her on a gorgeous day, the 16th of September, 2006 at Earthshine Mountain Lodge.

Here they are, 5 years later, with saki bombs in hand at their favorite sushi restaurant, Sora. The folks sitting around them were quite surprised when the table shook and the seemingly normal looking couple were shooting back saki dumped in Saparo.
Sora isn't exactly a party atmosphere, but what the heck, you only celebrate 5 years once!

Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad! Thanks to your marriage, I'm now in this world. Couldn't have done it without you both:)

P.S. Auntie Denise, mum is wearing the koru earrings you sent. She thought she could go ahead and use them now that she knows they actually are for her!

Jadyn's Wedding

Performing my duties seriously and confidently!

Grandpa walking Jadyn down the aisle.

Dressed to the hilt in my kilt.

Mommy wasn't quick enough to get the really good picture. I had just returned from a trip to the potty, at which point I had removed my underpants, and seconds before mommy took this photo, I flashed her and Aunt Brandi, purposely of course. So here is my sly smile, following my naughty deed. Kilts are fun!

Mum and Dad posing near the lake.

Unfortunately, mom forgot her camera battery charger and the rest of the good photos are on Aunt Brandi's camera. I'll try to get some from her and post a few more shots.

Thanks Grandpa and Grandma Coadwell for the wonderful jersey! I wish I could be supporting the All Blacks live and in person in New Zealand!!! Someday!

P.S. Happy Belated Birthday Grandpa, hope the card I sent made it on time. I apologize for not calling on your birthday, but I was busy being in a wedding. I love you!
