Mountain Party in Sparta

These photos are out of order, so bear with me. Mommy and I traveled to Sparta, NC to attend April and Amelia's Mountain Party/Divorce Celebration/Bobby Bday party. I had a lot of fun, getting dirty and wet. There was pumpkins, footballs, cake, friends, cake, music, cake, teepee's and oh yes, cake, for Bobby of course, but luckily, he shared!
Jack-o-lantern's, kind of creepy to be honest.

The next Drew Brees.

I need my Indian headress and grass skirt, stat!

Breaking in April's new and improved garden patio.

Yum, pumkins! It's like a giant apple.

A Lovely September Morning for Playing at the Park

First signs of autumn, just days before the Autumn Equinox, which is officially today. I love the changing colors of the leaves, so pretty.
The next few posts are all from the park on a glorious, warm day in Brevard, N.C. Enjoy!

Can You Hear What I Hear?

I hear it! A garbage truck, where is it? The sound is faint, but I know it's a garbage truck. Oh, I hope it passes by us here at the park, please, please, truck, I so want to see you.
Listen closely Mum, there it is again. It's definitely a garbage truck, I'm sure of it.

I think it may be getting closer, listen.

I will not give up hope and I will not stop listening, I love the sounds of the local garbage truck.

Making Music at the Park

The park isn't only for jumping, swinging, sliding, and climbing, you can also make music. Mum calls this being well-rounded. She must have learned this at that Liberal Arts college she attended.

Slides

I'm pretty much completely independent when it comes to slides these days-BRAG!
I love it!
Strike a pose!

Swings

"High, high, high!"
"I am pushing high Rion!"
"No, HIGH, HIGH, HIGH!" (whine, whine , whine)
I'm officially a big boy now, Mommy let me on the tire swing for the first time solo. I hold on real well, I think she's starting to trust my tire swing abilities, finally!

She even stepped back from the tire to take this photo, "high!"

My First Fair

So many sounds, so many colors, such a beautiful day, I'm in awe. Where shall I begin?

So Many THings to Ride, So Little Time to Ride Them All

Green ones, red ones, yellow ones too, a sea of tractors, how very cool!

Take a good look, it's a momentus occassion, my very first pony ride! Of course, I wanted "more, more, more," but apparently Chico needed a break, so I only got one ride.

Feeding the Goats at the Fair

Giant Bears, Big Camels, Small Goats and Helicopters

You can have it all at the county fair, heck, this may even be the state fair, whatever type of fair, it was fun! The goats were crazy for carrots!

Smile for the camera Mr. Camel!

Smokey knew my name, it kind of creeped me out.

My First Amusement Park Ride

Let's give credit, where credit is due. Mommy splurged on the Pony Ride at the county fair, but Ms. Geraldine was my heroine, she got me onto the cool car ride that mommy was too chicken or too cheap to let me ride. Thanks so much Gus and Ms. Geraldine, this ride was a blast!

The Sun in September

The outside pool is still open, cause the sun is still shining. Mommy says she loves September weather, it did her well for her and daddy's wedding. Happy Belated Birthday to my Grandpa Coadwell, hope you enjoyed some sunny skies on your day! Much Love to you- Rion

Firehouse Birthday Bash for My Pal Gus

Gus had a super fun 3rd birthday party at the local fire-station (mum says thanks Geraldine, how are we supposed to fill those expectations come November?). I loved every minute of the celebration, except for that one minute when my big, red balloon popped right in my hands.
Happy Birthday Friend!!!!

"I want up"
- yep, I'm using sentences now, how 'bout that?

Such a Big Boy

All grown-up and ready for school, time flies! I keep telling mom it's only 3 hours on Tuesday and Thursday, no biggie. I was super excited to get to school, hopped in the car and thought I drive us over.
Run, run, run, run, run,
run, run, run, to school!!!!!!!!

First Full Day of Pre-School

Stopping to pose in front of the school sign.Come on mommy! Here up! We are almost there.

I love me new backpack! I wouldn't let mommy take it off. I got right into the sand table with my six new friends (some of which were crying very loudly when I arrived, why? Weird!)

Ms. Joan and Ms. Suzanne, my teachers, took the whole crew out for a walk this morning and we went right by Mommy at Kiwi Gelato.
