16 Months Old

I turned 16 months yesterday. I guess the 16th month is the "Hair month." Or mommy has been sneaking Rogaine into my cereal? It looks like I'm going to be taking after my Grandpa Coadwell, not my Grandad Layton, sorry Grandaddy, and by the way HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Personalized Private Dining with a View

Living in the lap of luxury! Mimi knows how to hook a brotha up. I have my own table, my own chair, snacks and drinks brought to me, and all the while a Thomas the Tank Engine video is playing. Now this is the life. Mum and Dad could learn some things from Mimi.

One for the Road

I need to hurry, the pub is about to close! Run, run, run..

"Excuse me. Bartender. One more Guiness please. I do believe it is still St. Paddy's Day.
Cheers Mate!"

(p.s. I am actually pointing at an airplane that I can hear up in the sky. I love airplanes).

Cheers!

It's a traditional Irish feast, corned beef and cabbage and carrots, served with a tall glass of Guiness, and the setting? An Italian style ice-cream parlor owned by a New Zealander who deems himself and Irishman on March the 17th.

Wearing of the Tiny Green Leprechaun Hat

What a fun tradition, the tiny green hat! If you recall St. Pat's Day 2009, Mommy wrote a whole story about a leprechaun that tried to steal my Little Green Hat. She passes along her apologies but she seems to be suffereing from writer's block and will have to skip the story for 2010. It must be the economy Mommy!

Wearing of The Green

Me and Mommy dressed in our finest greenery for the 17th of March.

I even carried a green bat. I figured it would come in handy if any crazy leprechauns snuck-up on me during the day. Bop!

Of course I had to start the day off with a visit to the "s's"- (horses). I took them some cabbage, green food for St. Patty's Day. Unfortunately the "s's" did not come out to play today. Their loss!

Happy St. Patrick's Day Kiwi Family & Friends

I think Daddy misses his crew at Waxy O'Shea's in Invercargill.
He wears his 100 Pint Club shirt with pride! The mug is Mommy's.
She has had this mug since 1996 or '97, she can't quite remember. Hey,
it was Savannah St. Patrick's Day, give her a break

Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde

P.S. Do you like my new hat? It was a present from my friend Hudson. I'm getting a reindeer hug, on my head!

15 Months Old

At just over 15 months old, I weigh 23 lbs. exactly. Mom goes on and on about me growing up. Mom says these two photos make me look like a little boy, well what does she expect me to look like? A little girl?
Life is too short to walk anywhere, I prefer to run, at all times.

I love playing with sticks, rocks, large wood pieces, leaves, pebbles, mud, you name it, if it's outside, chances are I like it!

Breakfast Playdate

These photos are a tad out of order, so bear with me. Think REVERSE.
Playing follow the leader. Sir Ed was the leader. I was trying my hardest to keep up with Greysen and Sir Ed, but they sure are fast! Wait for me!

Greysen and I have a lot in common, especially our love for red wagons and horses.
It was fun to ride double!

We loaded up the wagon with carrots in hand and headed out for a great morning adventure.

Greysen's elephant impersonation. Isn't she clever!

I was so plesantly surprised upon waking Wednesday morning to find that I had a playdate and all before 7:00am. I woke-up and was instantly playing in my room with my friend Greysen. We didn't even make it downstairs for breakfast until 8:00am because we were having so much fun playing with my toys. As you can see in the photos above, we had a jam packed day of fun activities. The day just flew by.

Snow Days Part IV

I actually was not home for this past snow day as I went with MiMi back to her house in SC, although we did get some fluries down there, but nothing like what Mum and Dad had in Brevard. So this is a shot taken from our living room out the back door last Tuesday. They had about 9 inches. Luckily the temps. went up and the snow melted and we are hoping that this is it! Spring, please spring-up soon!

Mimi & Brandi Visit Brevard

Mimi and Aunt Brandi came for a visit this weekend and amazingly enough the weather cooperated. We took a nice, long walk in Dupont Forest. Here are the photos:

Arawen, whose name I pronounce "E, E, E", and I are chillin' on a rock with the second of the Triple Falls behind us. The water was really pumpin' today.

There was still snow on the shady bits. Arawen went off-trail to frollick in the white stuff.

Here I am posing with the sisters in front of High Falls. It was the most pretty today. You could look down and see lots of icicles and snowy parts at the base of the falls.

Of course no trip to the forest is complete without a good round of throwing rocks into water. Here I am just under the covered bridge, above High Falls partaking in one of my top favorite activities. AUnt Brandi has better photos, but I'm having trouble posting those off Snapfish so if I figure it out, I'll post so more.
P.S. It is currently snowing outside, it's Tuesday.
