14 Months

Yesterday I turned 14 months old. Although to be exact this picture was taken this morning, 14 months and one day old. My newest word is "toast." I had an awful cold yesterday and didn't get to go out in the snow, but I'm feeling better this morning and will post some snow photos for you later this evening. Cheers!

A Trip to Charlotte

Me and Mum headed to the Queen City on Wednesday as she was attending a Pastry Class training Thursday and Friday north of Charlotte at the gelato supplier center. So, Aunt Brandi graciously accepted an invitation to spend those two days with me. I was greeted at her home by a slew of new toys. Fun! I also got to play with Jax the dog lots, Asher and Uncle Chad some. I loved Asher's room. He has lots of fun balls, trains and other assortment of toys. Unfortunately, I did not get a picture of all those things. We actually ended-up leaving early as the weather forecast was calling for snow, plus I had a bad cough. So mum skipped out on the last training day and Aunt Brandi had a reprieve from another full on day with me, she seemed a bit tired Thursday evening, hummm....and mum and I made it home to Brevard just as the first flakes began to fall. Perfect timing.
On the way to Aunt Brandi's we stopped in to the Grandin's home for a visit. Here I am posing with Aunt Paula and great-gradma AKA GiGi. Their house was full of things for me to get my hands on. GiGi commented as I was climbing up on the kitchen chairs, "this might give me a heart attack" and given that she is 92 years old, I took that seriously. We gave kisses and headed out. She's now in Florida staying with her son, my grandad. Isn't she the lucky one, missing the cold snow, just!

NFL PLayoffs

I called up my mate Bradyn and invited him over to watch the playoff games on Sunday. I told him to wear a blue shirt with black accents with a football theme so we'd match. During commercials we played with my toys. One more week of playoffs then Superbowl Sunday. Are you ready for some football? P.S. Thanks for the shirt Aunt Brandi

Thanks Aunt Jadyn

Thanks for the awesome giraffe bike Aunt Jadyn. I love it. I just need to grow about one more centimeter before I can really dig in and push myself along. You are very kind. Hope to see you soon.

Indoor Antics

These days it's so cold outside, we find ourselves having to create fun inside. The next three posts are from one day spent playing inside when the temps were hovering around 20 deg. I love to run circles around mum and dad in the kitchen, through the hallway, and around and around. I run so fast, mum doesn't have much time to take a photo. Catch me if you can!
Now that I can say "ball", playing ball is extremely entertaining. I like when dad tries to take the ball from me. I run and he chases me, I usually win, and we both laugh a lot.

Dad calls this toy my "Man Cow." It was a bday gift from grandma and grandad. I not only ride the man cow, but I also pick it up using my big muscles.

Lay One On Me

Master Climber

My new favorite thing to do, especially when stuck indoors, is climb on the furniture. This trunk makes for several minutes of fun.

Eating with a Fork and Spoon

I've started the new year with a new look. I use a fork and spoon, when mum and dad let mw. I'm getting pretty good at utilizing these two utensils. It makes meal times a tad more messy, but that doesn't bother me. Bon Apetite!

Playing in the Garage

In this cold weather a guy needs to get out of the house or go crazy. I actually don't mind the cold but mum and dad seem too, so dad is down in the basement chopping wood all the time. I made myself useful and helped. I was surprised by the weight of the axe. Now I know how daddy stays so big and buff. He has to work for those bulging biceps.

It took mum a few moments to "get my drift." I was pointing and telling her what I wanted but she just didn't seem to understand. I wanted the bike helmet and I wanted it on my head, duh. Finally she understood and I was able to go on with my garage playing safe and sound, head protected.

Happy New Year to One and All!

We ended the decade in perfect fashion, eating sushi with friends. Mum & Dad are sushi fanatics I learned. They had the biggest plate out of everybody and shared little of it. I got to play with Arawen and daddy fed me using chopsticks. The best part of the New Years Eve was when we walked outside and saw a big, lumimnous blue moon and I pointed to it and said, "Moon." Mum and Ms. Lindsay heard it as loud and as clear as the moon itself. Impressed? From Mum, Dad and me, Happy New Years! May 2010 bring you peace and prosperity and love.

Steppin' Out in My Cool New Shoes

Hi Auntie Denise and Cousin Virginia. I'm finally starting to fill out my new Canterbury shoes. They are very sturdy and comfy, thanks for sending them with Grandma and Grandpa. They pair well with my toothbrush. I'll be wearing them lots in 2010, and brushing my 12 teeth lots too!
